  So I ordered off the Bose website and was disappointed to learn that they used DPD to ship the package. Unsurprisingly, a week after they said they'd deliver my package I've still not received it. On the day it was due to be delivered, a van turned up outside but apparently the driver had forgotten to bring it with him. I tried to call 7 times at different points in the day, only to be told that "DPD is currently receiving high call volume" every time. So I rearranged via the automated menu to have it left at a safe place but lo and behold the package was once again not delivered. DPD is too busy for me to talk to a supervisor apparently and I have no idea when my package will be delivered or even if it will be delivered. Worst courier company I've ever had the displeasure to experience.
